This class is the second of two courses in the electrical certification series. It will cover the theory, operation and maintenance of electrical systems currently being used in fire apparatus. This class fulfills partial education requirement for Fire Mechanic Level II state certification. The class is a total of 36 hours, 8 hours each on Monday through Thursday (8am-5pm) and 4 hours on Friday, concluding at noon.
Additional State Fire Training Class Fee of $80 required at time of registration
Prior to registration for this class, students MUST have completed the CFMA Basic Electronics course (FM-109) or have successfully passed the pretest. Students wishing to TEST into this class should contact the CFMA Administrative Office for further information on dates and locations for testing.
