This class will acquaint students with the principles and theories associated with the maintenance, pump operation, and operational pump testing required for fire apparatus and equipment. This class fulfills partial education requirement for Fire Mechanic Level I state certification. The class is a total of 36 hours, 8 hours each on Monday through Thursday (8am-5pm) and 4 hours on Friday, concluding at noon.
Required Materials: Protective clothing; i.e., boots, gloves, helmet or hard hat, eye & hearing protection
Additional State Fire Training Class Fee of $80 required at time of registration
